Welcome to the home of MOB-trak ; a Real - Time MOB recovery beacon. As the wearer hits the water the unit activates automatically, and a system alarm on-board is generated. The MOB target position is presented on the main chart system. Onboard cameras target and track the MOB, adding an automatic dimension to the recovery effort. The unit operates locally, alerting crew in the immediate area that an MOB event has occurred. Those best suited to help, by nature of location and prior training, can then come to the aid of the MOB, in the fastest possible response time. Where every second counts, MOB-trak will ensure that the first few vital moments are managed efficiently.
General Information : Ruggedized waterproof enclosure ensures trouble-free use. Smart test sequence provides operator with low-level confidence check, without triggering system alarms. Bi-directional information stream ensures that test and active states are monitored by the receiver on the main vessel. LED strobe aids location of MOB. Real-time tracking ensures that the exact position of the MOB is used during the recovery operation...NOT the initial water entry position. Tracking functionality allows MOB to be plotted on compatible ECS/ECDIS units.
